Oia

Oia Town

Oia is a coastal town in the northwest of Santorini, a Greek island in the Aegean Sea. The city has whitewashed houses carved into rocky cliff-tops overlooking a water-filled caldera. The Maritime Museum, housed in a 19th-century building, displays artifacts on local maritime history, including old figureheads, sailors’ chests, and models of old ships. Nearby is the ruined Oia Castle, famous for its sunset views.
