Red Beach is the most famous and beautiful beach in Santorini. It is also considered one of the most spectacular beaches in Greece. It is located in the southern part of the island just a few steps away from the ancient Akrotiri. The small size of the beach creates a crowded atmosphere and there are many days when most visitors choose not to go to the beach, but to admire this unique landscape of red and black volcanic rocks from the promontory.
